Modern morocco, boards bordered with a gilt rule, spine divided by raised bands between gilt rules, 2nd and 4th compartments lettered direct in gilt, others tooled centrally with an ichthyoid design in gilt, turn-ins gilt, top edge gilt. Just a touch of scattered toning. Shaved ownership inscription of Henry Hutchinson dated 1867 to head of title-page.
