FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. lxxiv, [ii], 223, [1] + frontispiece, 1 folding map and 1 further plate. Numerous illustrations included within pagination. Later biscuit calf, spine divided by raised bands between double gilt rules, red and blue morocco labels, other compartments tooled centrally in gilt. Somewhat sunned, particularly to spine. Armorial bookplate of Albert E. MacColl loosely inserted.
