Original black cloth, fairy illustration blocked in gilt to front board, spine lettered in gilt, colour-printed dustjacket. Boards a touch marked, dustjacket somewhat chipped and creased to extremities. Signed by the author to the title-page and inscribed to a John and Marjorie to front flyleaf, printed compliment notice from Pantheon Books loosely inserted.
