Contemporary tree calf by Riviere, boards bordered with a gilt roll, spines divided by raised bands gilt, red and black morocco labels, other compartments tooled elaborately in gilt, marbled edges and endpapers. Some joints starting, a touch of rubbing to edges. Modern bookplates to front pastedowns covering remains of earlier bookplates.
