Notes

The first edition of the third book by Australian children's author May Gibbs chronicling the adventures of 'Gumnut Babies' Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, modelled on the appearance of Eucalyptus nuts. They have inspired a musical and a ballet in the second half of the twentieth century.
