FIRST EDITION, 2 vols., 8vo, pp. 384, [2]; [2], 385-720, [46], 721-471, [3] + tissue-guarded frontispiece and 1 folding plate. Original pale green paper wrappers printed in dark blue. Wrappers somewhat soiled, splitting at joints and a little rubbed to edges. Ownership inscription of Walter K. Stevenson to tissue-guard dated 1945.

A bewilderingly wide-ranging conspiracy-minded posthumously-published 'study of the root conditions which have led to present day subversive upheavals and the over-throw of the principles of Christian civilisation' (p.10). A great deal of anti-semitic material and approving notice of the Ku Klux Klan are joined by chapters on Witchcraft, Druidism, various Knights Templar sects, Sinn Fein, Oddfellows, and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, with the folding plate reproducing a certificate appointing Aleister Crowley National Grand Master of the O.T.O.
