Small 4to, pp. 64. Printed in maroon throughout. Publisher’s blue cloth lettered and ruled in gilt to front board, edges red. Some foxing. Binding rubbed, spine ends bumped, hinges cracking but sound. Ownership inscriptions of Miss Macdonald and Elizabeth P Blackburn to front flyleaf and dedication page respectively, pencilled recipe for nut loaf to rear flyleaf.


A scarce little collection of recipes, with chapters on soups, fish, savouries, sauces, and sweets, intended 'to supplement the Recipes already issued'.
