NO. 146 OF 1,020 COPIES 4to, pp. xxxi, [i], 538, [6] + 20 plates (2 – including the frontispiece – on coated paper, 5 others double-page). Borders, chapter headings, and other illustrations often within the text, all by Aubrey Beardsley. Bound by Smith Settle in black Nigerian goatskin, front board and spine blocked in gilt, all edges gilt, housed in a black cloth drop-back box with morocco label, the box also enclosing a pamphlet in an internal pocket. A fine copy.

Notes

A reproduction of the 1927 third, most complete, Dent edition - each had contained more of Beardsley's work than the last - produced to the usual standards of the Folio Society's limited edition facsimiles.
