Notes

The scarcer earlier Edinburgh edition of this collection. While the ESTC entry dates this edition to 1800, there are 1805 watermarks present. The NLS catalogue dates their copies to 1806, the same year as the London edition printed by B. Crosby & Co., at which point the collection garnered the name 'Crosby's Caledonian Musical Repository'. ESTC locates just four copies, at Cambridge, UC Davis, Illinois, and Victoria.
