Contemporary mottled calf, boards bordered with a gilt roll, spines divided by raised bands between gilt rolls, green morocco labels, edges sprinkled blue. Some marginal worming to rear of vol. 2, small internal tear to half-title of vol. 1. A little rubbed, spines lightly creased, front joint of vol. 1 starting. Armorial bookplates of William Peter to pastedowns, his ownership signature to half-title of vol. 2 dated 1799.
