Notes

The selected works of poet and essayist Henry Kirke White, (1785-1806), first assembled from his papers in 1807 by Robert Southey, who contributes the memoir here, and frequently reprinted through the first half of the 19th century. Library Hub does not record this edition, but lists holdings for several other Griffin printings of the same format and pagination between 1825 and 1844; Worldcat finds just a single copy of this 1837 printing, at Yale.
