We are pleased to announce our second list, containing 30 antiquarian and finely printed books of classical Greek and Latin.
Highlights include a copy of Barnes’s Homer presented by Edward Harley containing pre-publication proofs of illustrations from the first edition of Pope’s translation, a printing of Plato’s Ion in a special binding by pupils at the London Central School of Arts & Crafts, Brunck’s important first work in the original boards, and a rare Edinburgh edition of John Mair’s ‘Radical Vocabulary’ of Latin.
The list is now available as a PDF, and you can read and download it by clicking here. If you would like to receive a hard copy of the list, contact us.
