This month we have a second treat to offer as well, in the form of List 44: Letterforms & Typography, containing 20 books which demonstrate interesting alphabets, typefaces, or typography. Highlights include the first type-facsimile ever produced, the ‘writing book to end all writing books‘, several unusual Greek typefaces, Didot’s 2.5-point miniature Horace, and a handful of type specimens, among them ones from Caslon and the Armenian Benedictine Monastery printing house in Venice.
