We are pleased to announce List 45: Recent Acquisitions, containing 50 books in a wide variety of areas, including classics, literature, history, and Scottish items. Highlights include the first account of Sir Walter Raleigh’s second voyage to Guiana, the first full translation of Aeschylus into English, the 1774 first edition of an orientalist satirical fantasy romance, and a rare provincial edition of the works of Samuel Johnson, among others.
