Notes

A collection of pamphlets from the mid-1830s, dealing with theological and presbyterical disputes within the Church of Scotland prior to the Great Disruption of 1843 which led to the formation of the Free Church of Scotland. Thomas Chalmers, who authored the first three tracts here, went on to be the first moderator in the Free Church.
