Notes

A group of collections by English poet Elizabeth Jennings (1926-2001), each in its first edition and from the library of the Scottish poet and broadcaster Maurice Lindsay (1918-2009). A Sense of the World was Jennings's follow-up to her Somerset Maugham Award-winning collection A Way of Looking, and the content was influenced by the travel in Italy that the prize money enabled.
