FIRST EDITION, 12mo, pp. vii, [i], 256. Untrimmed in original grey boards. Some spotting, particularly to title-page, a touch of soiling. Sometime rebacked in red buckram, spine lettered direct in gilt, boards a little rubbed, somewhat worn to extremities. Armorial bookplate of Henry Wemyss Feilden to pastedown.

This copy of a scarce travelogue relating a journey through northern Scotland was owned by naturalist and polar explorer Col. Henry Wemyss Feilden (1838-1921).
