Description

12mo, pp. viii, 280. Contemporary sheep, spine divided by gilt rules, red morocco label. Some spotting, a little scattered toning. Rubbed, some sections of leather peeled away from boards, extremities worn. Struck-through inscription dated 1794 to flyleaf.

Notes

A scarce (7 copies listed on Library Hub) Scottish legal textbook, first printed in 1734 and intending to supplement John Spottiswood's 1702 text, itself reprinted frequently through the first half of the 18th century.
