FIRST EDITION, 4to, pp. xxii, 283, [1] + 23 folding plates. Original red cloth, boards blocked in blind, front board blocked in gilt. Some light soiling and a couple of stains, one plate soiled and slightly worn at fore-edge. Cloth rubbed, spine darkened (from previous tape repair?), neatly rebacked preserving original backstrip, red morocco label. Modern bookplate to front pastedown, along with ownership inscriptions dated 1963 and 1885.
