Each booklet bound as issued with illustrated self-wrappers. Modern brown textured cloth, front board lettered direct in gilt, edges sprinkled red. A little soiled, some edge tears sometime repaired with tape, small section of one wrapper torn away.

Notes

The first printings of four of Caldecott's popular 'Picture Books', which were much-reprinted into the 20th century. The first one here illustrates a poem by Oliver Goldsmith.
