The first Elzevir printing of Erasmus's colloquies, which was reprinted 7 times by the Dutch firm through the 17th century. Goldsmid dubs it the 'best edition', while Willems is more loquacious in his praise, referring to it as the 'first and most beautiful' ('la première et la plus belle des cinq que les Elzevier ont données de ces Colloques dans le format').
