The scarcer hardback edition, issued with the wrappers of the paperback edition laminated over boards, of 2 poems MacDiarmid wrote in the 1930s for his wife and fellow poet Valda Trevlyn. The second poem, 'Once in a Cornish Garden' receives its first full publication here.
