8vo, pp. 57, [1]. Original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, dustjacket printed in black with green and pink. A little spotting to first few leaves. Dustjacket price-clipped, a little sunned to spine panel, lightly rubbed to folds and a little soiled, a touch of light foxing to rear panel. Ownership inscription of Hugh Keith to flyleaf dated Christmas 1966.

Notes

The second printing of Heaney's first book, in the same year as the first. 'Death of A Naturalist' was preceded only by a pamphlet published by Queen's University Belfast.
