4to, pp. [xvi], 227, [37]. Title-page printed in red and black. Contemporary limp vellum, spine titled in ink. Some scattered foxing and toning, marginal dampmark to indices. Vellum ruckled and soiled, front flyleaf excised, section of rear flyleaf torn away, splitting at gutter between signatures F and G with one cord holding. ‘Library of The Catholic Club’ labels to title-page and foot of spine, remnants of bookplate to pastedown.
