Large 8vo, pp. [3]-284, [2] + mounted colour frontispiece and 23 mounted colour plates. Other illustrations included within pagination. One plate mounted to following blank as issued. Original yellow cloth, spine and front board lettered in black, front board decorated in black and blue, top edge yellow. Boards a little soiled, spine slightly darkened. Contemporary ownership inscription to flyleaf: ‘The book belongs to M. Baird-Smith’.
