Notes
The second edition of Joyce's play, in its second-state binding of black cloth. Egoist Press sold their remaining stock of this title to Jonathan Cape in 1924, who had the remaining sheets bound up in black cloth, as here, with their colophon in blind to the rear board. This copy belonged to Professor Eudo Mason, for many years chair of German at Edinburgh University.
