Contemporary half calf, cloth boards, spine divided by raised bands, green morocco labels, fourth compartments lettered in gilt, central blind floral tool to other compartments, marbled edges and endpapers. Somewhat rubbed, a few marks.

Notes

The second English edition of this polar classic, a year after the first. Issued in a new and more decorative cloth binding, it was also sold in parts, from which this copy has been bound.
