12mo, pp. xii, 408 + frontispiece, engraved title-page and 11 plates. Original maroon roan, boards blocked elaborately in blind with central gilt lyre devices, spine blocked in gilt, edges gilt. A touch of spotting. A little rubbed, a few marks to front board, some wear and insect damage to tail of spine. Pencil gift inscription to engraved title-page: ‘ F.V.W. from her Father, 1895’.
