FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. xvii, [iii], 16, [4], xxiii-xxvii, [1] + 16 black and white facsimiles of manuscript pages across 8 plates, two of which folding. Original quarter red cloth, dark grey paper boards, dark grey slipcase, white and red labels lettered in black to front board and slipcase. Spine a touch faded, a few marks to slipcase.

Notes

The first edition of this early unpublished work by Joyce, written during his time in Trieste between 1911-1914. The text is followed by a full facsimile reproduction of the manuscript, with four pages reproduced true to size.
