8vo, pp. iv, 65, [1]. Original printed wrappers. First and last leaves lightly foxed. Wrappers a bit soiled, front wrapper slightly chipped at edges, spine sometime covered in cloth tape. Modern bookplate to front pastedown, address on front wrapper struck out and updated with a red stamp.
A rare price list from the manufacturers of tools, founded in 1794 in London and eventually taken over and renamed in 1928, after having produced in that period over 2,500 of the finest lathes, a field in which they led the world. The firm's address on the front wrapper is altered by means of a stamp from 13 & 14 New Bond Street to 53 Haymarket, a move made in 1907. Library Hub locates just two copies of a Holtzapffel price list, both dated to [1903?].
