Notes

The scarce second edition of Rev. Christopher Brown's improving catechism, recorded by ESTC in the BL only. The first edition was a 1748 Newcastle printing, recorded in 3 locations, and it was reprinted thrice more in the 18th century. ESTC records a separately-paginated 24-page 'Form of Prayer, Founded on the Scriptural Accounts of our Fall in Adam, and Glorious Restoration by Jesus Christ' with this printing, which is here bound after Brown's Supplement to the Several Almanacks, which is itself recorded by ESTC in 6 locations. Rounding out the volume is one of several printings, with no priority attached, of Bishop Thomas Sherlock's letters to Londoners following two earthquakes in the early months of 1750.
