Description

8vo, pp. [x], 377, [i], cxxvi, [8, ads]. Original brown boards, printed paper label to spine. A touch toned. A little soiled, joints split but cords holding, spine creased, spine covering split with some areas of loss at ends, extremities worn and bumped.

Notes

The second edition, and first octavo printing, of Scott's perennial poem, published two months after its quarto first. This copy retains its original boards, with the price of 12 shillings to the spine label.
