12mo, pp. 498, [6, index]. Contemporary half vellum, marbled boards, green morocco label, edges yellow, sprinkled blue. A touch of spotting. Rubbed, front joint splitting at foot. Booklabels of Edward John Kenney and Gwyneth Anne Kenney to pastedown, gift inscription in Italian dated 1830 and ink stamp of E.J. Kenney to flyleaf.

Notes

A scarce pocket Venetian printing of Thomas Farnaby's venerable 1636 edition of Ovid's Metamorphosis, recorded in just the BL in Library Hub, Worldcat adding only Yale. This copy belonged to the Cambridge Latinist E.J. Kenney (1924-2019).
