A Scottish - and Scott-ish - stage burlesque confection (very) loosely based on Scott's Lady of The Lake. Around the same time Halliday was also producing straight adaptations of Scott's work for F.B. Chatterton's Theatre Royal, but this, for the nearby Adelphi is somewhat wilder, with songs, dances, a lengthy discussion upon porridge and a magic flying chair. Library Hub records just two copies, at Aberdeen and Cambridge.
