FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. vii, [i], 267, [1] + frontispiece, engraved title-page and 11 plates. Original green cloth, front board and spine blocked in gilt. Some spotting and scattered foxing. Rear board slightly discoloured, spine ends bumped, extremities a little rubbed.

Notes

The first printing of the classic Peter Pan story in its best known form, adapted from Barrie's play 'Peter Pan' and following on from the success of the character's introduction in 'The Little White Bird' and this text's reappearance as 'Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens'.
