FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR, 8vo, pp. 40. Original cream wrappers printed in black. Wrappers a touch toned and marked, a few marginal edge tears. Inscribed to Dick Brown by author on half-title. Manuscript copies of poems from the collection written out by poet dated 1972, typed manuscript of poem signed by poet, and National Book League pamphlet loosely inserted.

Notes

The first edition of this pamphlet by Scottish poet J.K. Annand (1908-1993). While it is inscribed to a Dick Brown, this copy also has early handwritten and typed drafts of the poems 'The new lairds', 'South Uist' and 'Orkney' signed by Annand. Also present is a National Book League pamphlet with some of Annand's Scots poems for children.
