8vo, pp. 165, [3] + frontispiece. Original blue cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt. A few openings a little marked. A touch rubbed, spine slightly darkened, boards a little marked. Ownership inscription of Miss Meg Haining, Douglas Cottage, Crosshouse, to flyleaf.

Notes

A scarce volume of verse by member of the Ayrshire constabulary Matthew Anderson (1864-1948). Its contents include a poem on haggis, memorial verses to Gladstone and Prince Henry of Battenberg and a poem commemorating the Auchenharvie Pit Disaster.
