Library Hub records 5 copies with dates of 1880 or 1882, catalogued as both firm and conjectured; the preface is dated December 1880 and the work was reviewed in Nature in 1881. It was apparently issued with and without plates; we have seen a copy matching this one with a prize label dated 1886.
