An unrecorded later reprint of a popular educational work on elocution, with the author stating in the preface that 'it embraces many extracts from modern authors, which have not before appeared in Class-Book collections, and which are also well calculated to bring out the powers of the voice.' As it was reprinted so frequently, the stereotype plates wore out, prompting a new edition in 1852. The pagination in this edition matches other editions from 1857 and 1860.
