PRESENTATION COPY, NO. 16 OF 200 COPIES, large folio, pp. [xii], 15, [1] + 75 plates. Original red cloth, front board blocked in gilt, spine lettered in gilt. A touch of soiling. Binding a little marked and sunned, particularly to spine. Inscribed to flyleaf: ‘To Geo. Waterston Junr. Esq. with the author’s compliments, June 1887’.

This copy was presented to George Waterston, head of his family's company that had printed the work.
