Partially unopened in original ecru cloth backed in red paper, printed paper label to spine. Some offsetting from plates, a few openings lightly soiled. Binding somewhat soiled, front joint splitting, some wear to extremities. Inscribed to flyleaf: ‘To Graham Speirs Esq. Sheriff of Moray, 10 Apr. 1838 / from his friend the Editor’, armorial bookplate of George Stirling Home Drummond of Blair Drummond to pastedown.
