A scarce travelogue by Dr John Punton, an Englishman who emigrated to the USA at the age of 18 and trained as a doctor, working in various asylums on his way to a post at The University of Missouri Medical School. It was published by the publishing house formed by two of his sons, Frank and John Jr., and is unknown to Library Hub, with Worldcat listing copies in Harvard Medical School and the universities of Depauw and North Carolina only.
