Notes

A scarce privately-printed volume of poetry by poet and artist W.W. Peploe, bother to the Scottish Colourist painter Samuel Peploe and uncle of painters Denis and Willie Peploe. Peploe illustrates his own book, with a circular vignette to the front wrapper and an attractive frontispiece both depicting angular flowers reminiscent of the work of Aubrey Beardsley and Wyndham Lewis.
