An attractive edition of Fitzgerald's free rendering of some 11th-century Persian quatrains, with striking colour illustrations by cartoonist and illustrator Annie Fish. Each quatrain is also adorned with decorated initials in black and orange. The binding appears in two states, with boards covered in plain paper (as here) or patterned.
