4to, ff. [61] + frontispiece and 19 mounted colour plates with printed tissue guards. Brown foliate borders throughout. Original cream cloth, front board blocked and lettered in gilt, spine lettered in gilt. A little light foxing. Boards lightly soiled.

An attractively-presented edition of Fitzgerald's free rendering of some 11th-century Persian quatrains, illustrated by Edmond Dulac (1882-1953).
