Description

FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. xii, 58, 4, [2]. Original dark blue cloth, front board bordered by double blind rules and lettered and blocked in gilt, spine lettered in gilt. Boards just a touch marked, lightly rubbed to extremities. Small inscription to flyleaf now obscured.

Notes

MacDiarmid's first collection of poetry in its first issue binding of darker cloth with 'William Blackwood and Sons: Edinburgh and London' to the foot of the spine.
