Notes

An attractive Irish printing of the Satires edited by classicist John Hawkey (1703-1759) and printed at the press of Trinity College, Dublin - a vignette of their portico adorns the title-page - primarily for use by students and as academic prizes. It was also issued in a large-paper edition.
