FIRST EDITION, 4to, pp. [iv], 49, [1] + 12 tissue-guarded chromolithograph plates. Contemporary calf prize binding, boards bordered with a double gilt rule, front board blocked centrally with mitre design in gilt, spine divided by raised bands, black morocco label, other compartments tooled in gilt, marbled edges. A little spotting, first leaves soiled. Somewhat scratched and rubbed, a touch of wear to extremities. Prize label to pastedown from the Leeds Church School Prize Association to Samuel Linscott for the Advent Examination, 1869.
