Stapled as issued in colour-printed card wrappers, second volume with dustjacket printed in yellow and brown. One leaf creased in binding as issued, else fine. Sing It Aince for Pleisure inscribed with kind regards by Annand to title-page and signed by illustrator Dennis Carabine to half-title, 12-line typewritten poem signed by Annand loosely inserted sometime folded in three; Twice for Joy signed by Annand to half-title, 8-line manuscript poem by Annand loosely inserted.

Notes

Two of Annand's celebrated poetry collections for children, each signed and with additional material. Loosely inserted are two further poems by Annand: The typed text of the poem Mavis, which is the first poem in the first collection, and the source for the titles of both books, which has been signed by the poet; and a manuscript copy of the poem Mince and Tatties, signed and dated Xmas 1978. This latter poem saw print in a further volume of verse for the juvenile market in 1979, 'Thrice to Show Ye'.
