Contemporary diced black calf, boards bordered with gilt rolls, spines divided by gilt rules between blind rolls, 2nd compartment lettered direct in gilt, edges sprinkled red. Dampmark to margin of frontispiece. Somewhat rubbed. Bookseller’s ticket of S. M. Thompson of Cork to pastedown, marginal pencil notes throughout.
